Johnson earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science from Hobart and William Smith and her Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. As of 2019, she was the president and CEO of Fidelity Investments. Johnson was appointed to this position in 2014 to replace her father. Prior to her appointment, Johnson worked for Fidelity during the summers when she attended college and then as a full-time analyst after she obtained her M.B.A. According to Forbes, she owns an estimated 24 percent stake in Fidelity Investments.
